Kampala is a very lively city of one of the East African countries called Uganda, the pearl of Africa. The country is very calm and quiet, full of a lot scenic natural beauties. But the main city of Uganda is just opposite. Like other third world countries' capitals, this city is also overcrowded. The daily life is terribly disturbed by traffic nuisances. The existence of few frauds in the city might make your visit a bit tensed.
Sometimes it's tough to be indifferent, only to be curious about the interesting and eye- catching things as you have to always be careful and conscious about your moneybag and other belongings if you carry something during a promenade in the city areas or the places of tourists' attractions. However, I though could escape these types of incidents, some of my friends failed to do so. My visit in Kampala was filled with excitement and pleasures. I never felt discomfort to roam and explore the city. I have visited the city many times and still have an intense desire to be there minimum one more time.
It's sometimes difficult to take photographs in the African countries. Though all the people are not same, but you will definitely face some obstacles to film places, people and so on as always some will come to harass you for taking photos without permission. It is though normal but their intention is not always to ensure their privacy. Moreover, they want to create panic so that you can offer them some money instead of filming them. They will really be glad if you do so. They will be your friend immediately. They will share a lot of things about their personal life in particular their sorrows, sufferings and above all the poverty or scarcity of money. This is not same for all the people, but if you want to meet them intimately you will experience it. The story they will narrate to your ears is not always a lie, moreover it is a common life story of poor Ugandans. However if you are smarter than those people, at the end you will overcome all the hazards and will be able to enjoy a smooth travel.
